These images were taken by Club members at the Grafton Centre on 17th May 2023. The centre had been scheduled for redevelopment. The Debenhams store had closed in May 2021 as part of the company's national programme of store closures. Many of the units were either empty or had been made over to local community uses. The café in the East hall had closed and the Costa in the central hall was about to close.
Pictures have been ordered as far as possible to follow a path from the West (Fitzroy Street) entrance to the East (East Road) entrance. In the East hall, pictures taken at ground floor level are followed by pictures of the escalators and then pictures taken at first floor level.
